I – Protocole  :

Regarding the first step of our protocol, we drew the form of the site on three sheets of tracing paper and then we asked three random people to draw four arbitrary lines on them.

After that we overlaid the layers and used the intersections between the lines as our strategic points that we treated as Towns on the map.

Afterwards, with the help of Google Earth, we found the coordinates of each Town. With these data we went to the Bois de Vincennes to name them according to our feelings on site (the lighting, the sounds, the atmosphere),
just like the historical towns could be named according to an event or a particular environment.

By using wood sticks we materialized the Towns, which we connected by using a rope representing the road between two points. Each town was only connected to the two nearest towns, in order to optimize the distances, according to the Traveling Salesman problem, which we applied.

Each time we walked the distance between two points to attach the rope to the wood sticks, we would randomly pick a word from a previously done list. On this list we wrote key words that resonate with our ideologies of architecture and education.
